Interactive Sound Installation, 2022
Each hidden sculpture consists of different materials to cover an array of textures.
I used stone, sand, kinetic sand, feathers, gypsum casts of hands, a glass globe, parts of my old sculptures, and small objects I collected throughout the past couple of years.
"Sensorium" was an installation experience in Amman featuring seven plaster pods, each concealing a sculpture with unique textures and materials. Visitors couldn’t see inside but were invited to reach in and feel the sculptures. Each pod was accompanied by a sound piece, created from a mix of my recordings and samples from various sources, reflecting the unseen visual work. The project aimed to provide a more interactive art experience, engaging the audience through touch and sound to connect with the artwork on a deeper sensory level.
